The ‘MAGGI presents DPS STS Chef Minister 2024’, a culinary competition, ended with a gala event in Dhaka recently. Ishrat Jabin received the winner’s trophy along with a professional certificate and the grand prize money of Tk 100,000. The unique celebration of culinary passion for mothers began in February with a special workshop at the DPS STS Senior School Cafeteria. The grand gala of the competition, title-sponsored by MAGGI, was held on Saturday at the DPS STS Senior Campus. Over 500 mothers from all over Bangladesh joined the competition. Sheikh Rashid, Executive Chef, Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden; Jesus Nino, Chef, Le Meridien Dhaka; Faria Islam, Manager-Consumer Engagement Service, Nestlé Bangladesh PLC; Tasnia Rahman Shrishti, host, culinary artist, and the owner of ‘Shrishti’s Food Creation’ catering; Jaheda Begum, Head of Food and Beverage Production – National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute, and Manager – Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation; and Simra Khan, Fitness and Nutrition Coach; were the judges of the contest.
