Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

STS Merit Scholarship Policies

Up To 100% Merit-based Scholarship for Grades 8 and 10
 
With great delight, we would like to share that the second cycle of the DPS STS School Dhaka’s “Up To 100% Merit-based Scholarship”, for both DPS STS and non-DPS students of Grades 8 and 10, has begun.

The applicants for the scholarship will have to take the scholarship test, and they can obtain up to 100% waiver on their tuition fees for the Academic Session 2024-2025, in which the students will be studying in the subsequent grades (9 and 11 respectively). The test questions will be based on the syllabi of the Cambridge checkpoint examinations [Grades 7-8] and IGCSE [Grades 9-10]. Students from any curriculum and school are eligible to apply for the scholarship test.

A fee of only BDT500/- must be paid to register for the Scholarship test. Here are the important dates to remember for the second cycle of the Up To 100% Merit-based Scholarship Test:

GlenStar Scholarship:

A new and exciting opportunity, titled “Glenstar Scholarship,” has been opened for Grades 3-8 students starting from 2024-25.

“GlenStar Scholarship” is for students in Grades 3-8. The Top three students from Grades 3-7 will be awarded up to 75% scholarship on their tuition fees in the subsequent academic session. Grade 8 students must take the scholarship test to get the scholarship in Grade 9.

To qualify for the GlenStar Scholarship, students must fulfil the Academic Criteria:

– Score a minimum of 90% on average in mid-term and final-term examinations
– Maintain a minimum of 90% attendance throughout the academic year
– Submit all assignments with a 100% submission rate
– Demonstrate good conduct and avoid any incidents of misconduct
– Parents must attend all Parents-Teachers Meetings in the academic session

In case of a tie, the scholarship will be offered while choosing the top three, based on the highest points scored on Additional Criteria.

Students can earn points in the Additional Criteria based on their achievements in co-curricular and sports contests:

– School level contests (top three positions) or School Olympiads (within top 25) – 1 point
– Regional/District/Interschool level contests (top three positions) or Olympiads at regional/district level (within top 50) – 2 points
– National level contests (top 10) or Olympiads at national level (within top 100) – 4 points
– International level contests (top 10) or Olympiads at international level (within top 200) – 6 points
– Voluntary activities at any level – 2 points.

Final Merit List:
The scholarship committee will compile the list of qualifying students in June. The final merit list will be announced in mid-August. If you need any clarifications, please write to principal@dpsstsdhaka.org

BDT50,000/- Scholarship for AS Level 2024-25

With great pleasure, we would like to announce that the DPS STS School Dhaka will be offering BDT 50,000/- in scholarships to those students who will obtain six or more “A*” grades in International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations or Ordinary Level (O’ level) in May/June 2024 examination session.

A scholarship amount of a whopping BDT50,000/- will be offered for the 2024-2025 Academic Session for the scholarship winners when they study for their Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level examinations.

Dear DPS STS students! Please prepare your utmost for your May-June 2024 IGCSEs; you will be awarded this scholarship provided you obtain 6 “A*” grades. 
 
The non-DPS students who score 6 “A*” grades in the 2024 May-June O’ level examination session must contact the DPS STS School Dhaka’s Admission Office to obtain this scholarship.
