We are thrilled to inform you about the incredible success of the scholarship program introduced in 2021. This initiative has proven to be an outstanding opportunity for students from all over the country to pursue their education at DPS.
We are proud to share that this year, two deserving students were granted a 50% waiver in their tuition fees through this program.
We are committed to continuing this program and providing more students with the chance to excel academically. This year, we are conducting the scholarship test in two cycles.
- December Cycle
- June Cycle
[The students of Grades 8 and 10 (Current session) from any school in Bangladesh or overseas are allowed to take either one or both the cycles of scholarship tests if they wish to]
The registrations for the first cycles of the DPS STS Merit Scholarship Test are now open for the upcoming session, 2024-25.
Based on the test results, students can secure up to 100% scholarships on their tuition fees. Take advantage of this remarkable opportunity!
To be eligible for the scholarship, students are required to obtain a minimum percentage of 80% on the scholarship test (Both in written as well as Oral assessment).
There is a fee of BDT. 500 only for the scholarship test, making it accessible to all eligible candidates.
Deadline for registration: 30th November 2023
Assessment Day & Date: Thursday, 14th December 2023
Time: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Eligibility:
For Scholarship in Grade 9: All the students who are pursuing Grade 8 in the year 2023-24 in any school in Bangladesh or overseas from any curriculum.
For Scholarship in Grade 11: All the students who are pursuing Grade 10 in the year 2023-24 in any school in Bangladesh or overseas from any curriculum.
Assessment Syllabus:
Grade 9 scholarship: The assessment will cover subjects from the Grade 8 Cambridge Checkpoint, including English, Mathematics, Science, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning. For the December cycle, there will be reduced syllabus covered till November 2023.
Specific details for each subject will be shared with all registered students.
Grade 11 scholarship: The assessment will be based on the Grade 10 Cambridge IGCSE syllabus. Students can choose any subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Accounting, and Economics. Additionally, all students will be assessed on English, Mathematics, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning, as these are ordinary subjects for both streams. Specific details for each subject will be shared with all registered students.
A negative marking system will be followed while assessing the written test paper.
The students who score 80% and above on the written test will be invited for personal interviews.
During the interview, the student will be assessed on the following five criteria-
(10 Points for each)
Academic and sports achievements
CCAs (School level & International level)
Volunteering and Community Service
Attendance and Studentship Record
Personal Essay on their interests and subject choices
